Welcome to Week 5 of the NFL. Let’s take a look at the best bets for your dollars. Here’s some rapid-fire betting analysis!
Arizona Cardinals v. New York Jets
Currently at a spread of -7, this may be an understatement to what the Cardinals are capable of putting on the scoreboard against a Jets team that is 0-4. This week seems like a sure win for the Cardinals, and it’s safe to say they’ll mark the victory by more than a touchdown.
Carolina Panthers v. Atlanta Falcons
Going against the spread here would probably be the best option. The Atlanta Falcons are favored by -1.5, but likely only because they would appear to be due for a win after going 0-4 to start the season. Nonetheless, the Panthers are the better team and will edge them by more than a field goal.
Cincinnati Bengals v. Baltimore Ravens
The 1-2-1 Bengals take on the 3-1 Ravens this week, and Baltimore is favored at -12.5. While the Ravens are clearly an offensive minded team, they will not defeat Cincinnati by over 13 points. Take Cincinnati here, it’s the safer choice.
Jacksonville Jaguars v. Houston Texans
Two teams that have not gotten off to great starts clash, where Houston (0-4) is favored by -5.5. This is a tricky one, but the best bet is to go with Jacksonville. Houston has no life right now.
Las Vegas Raiders v. Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City has been on fire. Even though the spread has them at -11.5, which is pretty high, it’s a risky but calculated move to go with it.
Los Angeles Rams v. Washington Football Team
LA a stronger, more offensive team, and their -7 spread is testament to that. It’s not hard to pick this one.
Philadelphia Eagles v. Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh is currently 3-0 and have had a great start to their season, winning their games with a competitive energy that doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon, especially against an Eagles team that’s 1-2-1. The spread is -7 for the Steelers- they won’t let you down.
Miami Dolphins v. San Francisco 49ers
San Fran is definitely a better team than Miami, but a -8.5 spread is simply too much. Miami will keep it close.
Indianapolis Colts v. Cleveland Browns
Two 3-1 teams means the spread is close, with the Browns favored at -1. This is simply about who will win. It’s a toss-up, but my pick is with the Browns.
New York Giants v. Dallas Cowboys
Dallas and New York have a great rivalry, and their games tend to be high scoring and close for a reason. The Cowboys will win, but not by -8.5.
Minnesota Vikings v. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have been impressive, and their undefeated streak won’t end against the 1-3 Vikings. They’ll cover the spread for -7.
Los Angeles Chargers v. New Orleans Saints
The Saints are narrowly better than the Chargers, so a -8.5 spread might be too much this time.
Cheers to another week of football. Hope you enjoy this betting analysis, and may the odds be in your favor.
