As NBA Opening Night tips off, let’s get you ready to place some winners! But first, a quick recap from week 15 of the NFL.
Tough Week
Starting in Atlanta, we went 4-7 on picks, just missing Falcons -6.5 and under 49 total points. We also missed Gronk’s over by 3.5 catches and Hayden Hurst by one catch. Ito Smith was more than on pace missing by 3.5 yards due to the Falcons only running the ball 12 times, compared to 49 passing attempts. Moving to Minnesota, we went 3-4, missing Mitch’s over as well as Anthony Miller only having one catch on one target and Mooney getting four catches. Allen Robinson had his least effective game all season, only being targeted a season-low five times, catching four balls for 83 yards. In KC, we start with a push for Chiefs -3 then two brutal beats with Sanders catching four balls and Cook catching two with overs at 4.5 and 2.5. Kelce only had 68 receiving yards, but did have 8 catches.
Moving into the props I liked, we went 13-12 with some absolutely unreal beats. Starting with J.K. Dobbins missing his over by 3 yards because the Ravens only gave him 4 carries in the second half of a blowout, as well as Aiuyuk missing by 2 yards.
Not the best week, but we’ll adapt and overcome!
Time for some hoops action
Now it is finally time to look through these NBA matchups to find some real winning plays.
Warriors-Nets

With two games on tonight, we start with the Warriors and Nets game. Total points for this matchup is set at 231.5 and I like the under, as that is a very high total. The Nets should handle this matchup with no Draymond, especially with them already losing Klay for the season. While the Warriors picked up a lot of solid pieces, the star power on the Nets is tough to handle.
Nets moneyline should be a solid play for this game. -7.5 Nets could be a play, but an alternate line of say 4.5-5.5 might be a safer option. A player prop I like is Andrew Wiggins over 25.5 points, rebounds, and assists, as that number is really low for a guy who averaged 21, 5, and 3 last season. Joe Harris over 11.5 points as well as over 2.5 threes are both plays I also like tonight. I expect Durant to have a solid game facing his former team, and for that I am riding the over 26.5 points.
Lakers-Clippers

We end the night with a matchup between the Lakers and their cross-town rival Clippers. I like the Lakers -3.5 as well as the over 220.5. As the Lakers are hoping to win back to back, they get a really tough task in game one. I like the Lakers first quarter moneyline as they have won that quarter in their last seven matchups against the Clippers. Paul George’s total points sits at 21.5 and I like the over as he has scored at least 26 in six of his last eight against the Lakers. LeBron has recorded 28+ points in six of the Lakers’ last seven home games. I like Lou Williams and KCP to both hit their overs for points at 15.5 and 9.5 respectively.
